About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will be a senior in-house attorney with a focus on providing practical, business-oriented legal counsel. This role involves close collaboration with executive leadership, HR, operations, finance, compliance, and outside counsel on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, transactions, employment issues, litigation, and regulatory compliance. The Associate General Counsel will be responsible for contract drafting, review, and negotiation, as well as supporting corporate and transactional matters, and providing legal guidance on employment and HR issues. Additionally, the role includes advising on healthcare regulatory matters, particularly those affecting multi-state operations, and managing litigation and risk. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and an active license to practice law. A preference is given to those with eligibility for in-house counsel registration in Georgia or Georgia bar admission. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of legal experience, with a strong background in commercial contracting, healthcare regulatory matters, employment law, and corporate transactions. The role requires a demonstrated ability to provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and the candidate should possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and to build collaborative relationships across the organization is essential.
