Job Description

Build one-of-a-kind steel projects

Step into a growth-focused fabrication shop where you turn raw plate and shapes into finished structures. This is custom work—not high-volume production. You’ll help bring platforms, stairs, structural frames, and process piping to life for commercial and industrial clients.

What you’ll do

Fit up and fabricate structural and miscellaneous steel assemblies
Perform GMAW/FCAW welds on beams, columns, stairs, platforms, and pipe systems
Read and apply blueprints, isometric drawings, welding symbols, and follow WPS
Lay out, measure, cut, grind, and assemble to precise specifications
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely
Work closely with a skilled team to complete custom builds on schedule

What you bring

4+ years of welding and/or fitting experience in a fabrication shop
Strong ability to interpret drawings, weld symbols, and WPS
Hands-on experience with MIG (GMAW) and/or Flux Core (FCAW) on structural steel, plate, and pipe
Current AWS D1.1 and WABO certification in GMAW or FCAW, 2G or higher
Meticulous attention to detail and consistently clean weld quality
Comfortable working in a busy, safety-conscious fab shop

Bonus points

Background in structural steel fabrication
Pipe welding or mechanical fabrication experience
Experience building custom or complex projects
Prior forklift or overhead crane experience
