We're looking for a Warehouse Operations Specialist who wants to do more than traditional picking, packing, and shipping.

This is a hands-on warehouse position with a variety of responsibilities. You'll take primary responsibility for processing product returns and supplier return authorizations while also being cross-trained in inventory, shipping and receiving, lock keying, and electronic lock configuration.

You do not need previous locksmithing or access-control experience. We provide training. If you have solid warehouse experience, good computer skills, mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and an interest in learning new skills, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Process Product Returns
You'll take ownership of products returned to our warehouse. This includes:

• Receive and inspect returned products.
• Determine whether products can be returned to inventory, need additional work to make them resalable, or need to be returned to the supplier as defective.
• Prepare products for return to stock when appropriate.
• Accurately document product condition and return activity in NetSuite.
• For defective products, request return authorization from the appropriate supplier, complete the required transactions, and prepare the product for shipment back to the supplier.
• Follow open supplier returns through completion to make sure GoKeyless receives the appropriate credit or replacement.

Our return and supplier-authorization processes are documented, and you'll be trained on them.
Learn Product Configuration and Lock Keying

One of the things that makes this position different from a typical warehouse job is the opportunity to develop additional technical skills.

We'll train you to:

• Pin and key locks according to customer specifications.
• Cut and code keys.
• Configure and program electronic locks.
• Perform other hands-on product configuration work.

You'll provide backup support to our keying and product configuration specialists during busy periods and absences.

Prior locksmithing, keying, or electronic lock experience is not required.
Support Warehouse Operations

Because this is a cross-trained position, you'll also work throughout our warehouse as needed, including:

• Receiving
• Picking and packing orders
• Shipping
• Staging and kitting products
• General warehouse support

Our goal is for you to learn all aspects of our warehouse operation and become a versatile member of the team.
Help Maintain Inventory Accuracy

You'll also help keep our inventory accurate by:

• Performing regular cycle counts.
• Making sure returned products are correctly reflected in NetSuite.
• Researching and reporting inventory discrepancies.
• Following established warehouse and inventory procedures.

What We're Looking For

We're less concerned about whether you've worked with locks before and more interested in whether you have the right foundation to learn the job.
Required

• Solid warehouse experience, including areas such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, or inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with your hands.
• Dependable work history and a reliable approach to your work.
• Ability to follow documented processes while working independently.
• Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train in different areas of warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform normal warehouse activities, including moderate walking and use of a pallet jack.
• Willingness to become lift-truck certified.

Helpful, But Not Required

Experience in any of the following is a plus, but none is required :

• Inventory control or distribution operations
• Product returns or supplier return authorizations
• Manufacturing or assembly
• Automotive parts or service
• Electronics assembly, repair, or equipment service
• Mechanical or other precision hands-on work
• ERP or inventory-management software such as NetSuite
• Locksmithing, lock keying, or key cutting
• Electronic locks or access-control products
• Lift-truck operation

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical, trade, warehouse, or related certifications are a plus but not required.

Pay Range: $19 - $24 per hour
