About Our Exciting Career Opportunity

We are currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated professional with a positive attitude, excellent communication and analytical skills to join our dedicated team as a Payment Processing Specialist. The Payment Processing Specialist is responsible for processing payments (Lockbox and Mailed In-Checks), answering calls, and responding to Bill Pay correspondence. Performs a variety of support duties related to the Payment Processing Department in accordance with Educational Systems Federal Credit Union policies and procedures and are in compliance with all Federal, State, NCUA, Bill Pay products and Check rules and regulations. Responds in a positive helpful manner to internal and external member questions or requests. Assist members and potential members in understanding and utilizing Credit Union products and services.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required and a minimum of three (3) years financial institution experience, including knowledge of in-house check rules and bill pay check processes preferred. Understanding knowledge of REG CC and E is helpful.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, attention to detail and analytical skills required, and must have intermediate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work accurately and independently under specific time constraints with the ability to perform detailed work.
