Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel) in Hamilton, New York, United States. Start date: 09/07/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,327–$2,463 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights (12-hour nights) from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Setting: hospital emergency department. This is a travel – temporary assignment. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,327–$2,463 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: Weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., 2x3 schedule Start date: 09/07/2026 Work setting: Hospital ER Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care: initial assessment, triage, stabilization, monitoring, and ongoing treatment for a variety of acute presentations. Administer medications, perform bedside procedures, interpret monitor data and EKGs, and respond to emergent events using current protocols. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the broader care team to develop and adjust care plans; ensure smooth patient flow and safe handoffs. Document care in the EMR system (Sorian), including assessments, interventions, responses, and discharge instructions; maintain compliance with privacy and safety standards. Adhere to ACLS, PALS, and BLS protocols; TNCC and ENPC are preferred. Maintain awareness of infection control and patient safety best practices. Provide patient and family education, coordinate with ancillary services, and support timely discharges or transfers as appropriate. Requirements Active registered nurse license in good standing (state of practice) ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required TNCC and ENPC preferred Prior ER nursing experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, 12-hour night ER environment Proficiency with the specified EMR system (Sorian) preferred Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Competitive weekly pay in the stated range Local candidates may be eligible for the local rate within a 50-mile radius Travel assignment with dedicated support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
