Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Physical Therapist (PT) license for South Carolina
• Experience delivering PT support in educational settings, preferably across multiple school sites and grade levels (K-12)
• Ability to thrive in an itinerant role, efficiently traveling between assigned schools within the district
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and staff
• Outstanding communication abilities for collaborating with school teams, families, and external providers
• Demonstrated commitment to enhancing student access, independence, and functional skills within the academic environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide direct therapy for students, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document progress, maintain compliant records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult with educators and families to support student participation and progress
• Adapt and create programming as needed to promote inclusive, accessible learning environments
• Manage a full caseload on a 37.5 hour workweek, onsite during school hours
• Travel between multiple district sites as an itinerant therapist
