About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Mother Baby RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87109!
Job Title: Post Partum Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred License: Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start) Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience: 3-4 Description: The Post Partum Registered Nurse provides care for mothers and newborns during their postpartum period. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing nursing interventions based on the patient's needs. The nurse will provide education and support to new parents regarding infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing newborn assessments. The nurse is expected to follow safety protocols and maintain a high standard of care in all situations. Floating to like units may be required based on facility needs. Weekends may also be required.
