Assistant Store Manager-Parkton, MD

Job Location: Store 141 - Parkton, MD 21120 Salary Range: $43,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year Overview High’s is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support store operations and achieve organizational objectives. Responsibilities Learn all aspects of supervising the day‑to‑day task assignment of store associates. Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers and respond to feedback. Support associate and team management – recruiting, hiring, training & development, coaching, engagement, and performance management. Ensure execution of safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures and programs. Assist in analyzing results and trends to leverage store strengths and address opportunities. Coordinate daily assignments and activities of associates to meet business needs and create a positive work environment. Additional duties as the business requires. Qualifications Leadership experience in a fast‑paced retail, food service or fuel environment. Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred. Availability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to learn and utilize the store’s computer applications. Minimum age 18 years old. Working Conditions Retail environment with occasional exposure to dust, extreme temperatures, and contact with petroleum and/or cleaning products.
