Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The shift is a 3x12-hour night schedule from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the management of critically ill patients, with a focus on cardiac care, including post-cath interventions. The nurse will also be responsible for the operation and management of equipment such as balloon pumps and Impella devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for ICU patients, including medication administration and monitoring vital signs.
• Manage dysrhythmias, arterial and central line care, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Perform pre/post cardiac catheterization care and sheath removal procedures.
• Float to multiple campuses as needed and participate in on-call rotations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health protocols, including isolation precautions and PPE.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience; cardiac experience preferred.
• Valid Ohio state license or compact license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Travel experience is required.
