MACHINE OPERATOR

Reports to Production Supervisor Fully participate in and support the Mersen Quality System. General Description Set up, adjust and operate a variety of large machines, perform machining operations involving close tolerance and finish specifications. Exemplary Duties / Responsibilities Ability to follow operational sequences prescribed. Operate machines to produce pilot pieces for inspection, check setups and make adjustments to correct variances. Work from part drawings, specifications, setup and operating instructions. Use a wide range of precision measuring instruments and devices to set up, operate and check work. Continually improve and monitor quality through product delivery, conformance and performance. Minimum Qualifications Suggested high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
