Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring OR scrubbing skills and call coverage.

Job Details

• Endoscopy/OR unit within a hospital setting,
• Case types include ortho, ENT, plastics, general, robotics, and urology,
• Fast-paced OR environment with 6 beds,
• Patient ratio of 1:1,
• Day shift schedule 6:30 AM-5:00 PM Tuesday-Friday with Mondays off,
• No block scheduling and no floating required,
• Call required: one weeknight 7 PM-6:30 AM and every other weekend Saturday/Sunday night 3:00 PM-7:00 AM,
• Uses Cerner EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,
• Minimum 1+ years of recent OR experience required,
• Must be able to scrub in for procedures,
• Robotics experience preferred,
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment,
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided,
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted,
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week and submitted with application,
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at this health system within the past 2 years will not be considered,
