Located in the heart of Springfield, Forest Glen Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a trusted skilled nursing facility dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our environmental services team and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents.

Position Overview:
As a Housekeeper at Forest Glen , you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facility. Your attention to detail and pride in your work will directly contribute to the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and nursing stations

• Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure proper sanitation

• Handle laundry duties, including collecting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens

• Maintain cleanliness of floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

• Properly use and store cleaning supplies and equipment

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department

• Ensure infection control procedures are followed at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred (especially in a healthcare setting)

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety practices

• Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision

• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic

• Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and coworkers

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
