Ruff House at Greenbrier, located in Chesapeake, VA, is looking for an experienced Dog Trainer to join our dedicated team. If you love working with animals and have a knack for teaching, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Dog Trainer at Ruff House, you’ll play a key role in helping our furry clients become the best versions of themselves. From basic obedience to addressing behavioral challenges, you’ll work closely with both dogs and their owners to create a positive and rewarding training experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to put your skills to work in a supportive and dog-loving environment.

• Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions tailored to the needs of each dog and their owner.
• Develop and implement effective training plans for basic obedience, behavior modification, and other specialized needs.
• Educate pet owners on training techniques to reinforce positive behaviors at home.
• Monitor and assess the progress of each dog, adjusting training methods as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for dogs and their owners.

• At least 1 year of experience in dog training or a related field.
• Strong understanding of canine behavior and training techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both dogs and their owners.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals.
• Ability to adapt training methods to suit the unique needs of each dog.
