You'll be on the leading edge of creating one-of-a kind custom products that will ensure our clients attain their demanding expectations.Tasks And ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with supervisors to plan daily/weekly workload based on production schedule and project requirementsRead and interpret fabrication blueprints and drawingsFabricate components to drawings accurately and in a timely mannerOperate fabrication machinery including saws, shears, presses, drill presses, mag drills, ironworkers, grinders and welding equipmentInspect work regularly to ensure quality control standards are metSafely handle and move materials and components usings cranes, forklifts and rigging equipmentDocument changes through marking up drawings with redlineMaintain proper PPE use and follow all OSHA and company safety policiesWork with and train younger talentMaintain clean and organized work areaPerform additional shop or field tasks as assigned to meet project deadlinesYour starting point for constant growth From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:10+ years of relevant welding/fabricating experienceHighly experienced with MIG, TIG, and Stick WeldingExperience with Oxy-Fuel/Plasma cutting on structural steel and pipeExperience with Pipe Fitting and Welding to B31.3 (6G certification)Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipmentAbility to read and understand fabrication blueprints & drawingsStrong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and troubleshootingCommitment to reliability, efficiency, and high quality workExperience using overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipmentSafety Minded, ability to work alone, with othersWilling to travel for equipment installation and commissioningWhat we can offer youInvestment in your developmentLeaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership PrinciplesBeing valued for the unique person you areNever being short of inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projectsThe long-term thinking of a foundation-owned companySalary Transparency StatementAt Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $25-$35/hr. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
