At The Metropolitan at The 9 , our banquet team brings events to life—from weddings and galas to corporate events and private dinners . We’re looking for banquet servers who can deliver polished service while helping create seamless, memorable experiences for both guests and hosts. Experience is great—but not required. We train the right attitude. What You’ll Do Set up and break down banquet rooms, tables, buffets, and event spaces Arrange tables, linens, glassware, and place settings to event standards Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and presentation Serve food and beverages in a professional, timely manner Provide attentive, friendly service to event guests and hosts Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout events Work closely with the culinary and event teams to ensure smooth execution What We’re Looking For Positive attitude and strong guest service mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Attention to detail and ability to follow setup diagrams and instructions Willingness to be hands-on with both setup and service Professional appearance and communication Availability for evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules Qualifications Previous banquet, serving, or hospitality experience is a plus Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout shift Team player with strong work ethic Flexible and adaptable to different event styles and setups Why Join The Metropolitan at The 9?
