Job Description

Eurofins is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Laboratory Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of laboratory testing projects. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and internal laboratory teams, ensuring projects move efficiently from initiation through completion while maintaining exceptional customer service and accurate documentation.

Essential Responsibilities

• Review quotations, purchase orders, protocols, methods, specifications, client instructions, and related documentation to ensure project requirements are accurately captured.
• Create, maintain, and update project records and study designs within Eurofins LIMS, CRM platforms, and other designated systems.
• Coordinate project startup activities, ensuring required methods, materials, specifications, and documentation are available prior to project initiation.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for routine client communication and provide timely project updates.
• Schedule and coordinate project activities with laboratory operations, quality assurance, sample administration, finance, business development, and other supporting departments.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and action items to help ensure commitments are met.
• Track project scope changes and assist with change-order documentation and approvals when needed.
• Support invoice review activities and assist with the resolution of routine billing questions.
• Escalate project risks, delays, or issues to appropriate stakeholders and support resolution efforts.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and traceable project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in team cross-training and provide coverage support as needed.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a scientific, laboratory, client service, project coordination, or related environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects, studies, or client deliverables in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or related scientific environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Experience working with LIMS, eLIMS, eQMS, eQMS/ETQ, CRM systems, or other laboratory software platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, data review, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and levels of an organization.
• Knowledge of regulated laboratory environments is preferred.

Additional Information

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.
