Human Resources Coordinator

Overview Major Food Group, the powerhouse behind Carbone, Sadelles, THE GRILL, Dirty French and many others, is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing team! The Human Resources Coordinator plays an active role in carrying out the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department to ensure a consistent, high-level delivery of HR services to all team members. Responsibilities Handle all administrative aspects in relation to Human Resources. Assist the Human Resources Directors as needed. Organize and sort all mail for the Human Resources Department. Maintain HRIS systems, to ensure information is current and accurate. Respond to various received mail as necessary and when appropriate. Respond to all unemployment claims. Maintain company electronic filing system in UKG. Manage recruitment postings as needed. Act as a messenger between the restaurants and corporate in relation to HR. Qualifications Minimum 2 years in the Restaurant/Hospitality Industry; Human Resources experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred. Previous experience performing new restaurant opening responsibilities such as training and motivating new employees into a high-performing team and implementing new systems, policies, and procedures strongly preferred. Proven team player willing to roll up your sleeves - a good leader should be willing and able to do whatever they ask of their team. Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, humility and leadership. Must be based in NY or FL.
