Laundry Attendant General Overview A Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens by washing, drying, folding, and stocking linens of all types. In addition, you may respond to guest requests as needed. You will support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Qualifications Full Availability Preferred, Part-Time, and Full Time available. Must be 16 yrs or older. Students are welcome to apply, will work around your class and exam schedule *MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG TEST & BACKGROUND CHECK!! Work Environment and Scheduling Shifts include 7a-3p, 9a-5p, 12p-8p Shifts include groups of 1-2 team members. Compensation Experienced Full 5 Days, all shifts, no limitations = $15.00/hr Full 5 Days a week availability (all AM and PM), day of week limitations = $14.50 /hr Full 5 Days a week availability (AM shift only or PM shift only, or same days needed off each week) = $14.00 /hr 4 days a week availability, no limitations = $13.00 /hr Less than 4 days a week with limitations = $12.00 /hr Less than 3 days a week with limitations = $11.00 /hr Duties and Responsibilities Perform all stages of linen processing Collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), folding, storing and delivering Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area Maintain stock levels Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner Perform additional laundry services, as needed Extra Incentives Discounted travel rates for you, your friends & your family at all Hilton hotels for the length of your employment.
