The largest device company in the world – with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care Injection Molding Process Engineer II Contract: 2 years with extension or conversion potential Benefits: Medical, Dental, Holiday, PTO 401K matching Leads development, validation, and optimization of injection molding processes for medical-grade manufacturing, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency through scientific molding and data-driven improvement. Responsibilities Develop, validate (IQ/OQ/PQ), and optimize processes. Apply scientific molding to improve quality and cycle times. Troubleshoot using root cause analysis and FMEA. Maintain compliant documentation. Collaborate cross-functionally on product launches and improvements. Drive continuous improvement (SPC, DOE, Lean, Six Sigma). Support tooling and process changes via CAD interpretation. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field. 4–6+ years injection molding experience (medical preferred). Knowledge of polymers, process controls, and regulated environments. Strong data analysis and communication skills. Preferred Scientific Molding training and/or Master Molder certification. Experience with decoupled molding, project management, and technical reporting.
