Wilmington School of the Arts is seeking a committed, team-oriented  EC Instructional Assistant to facilitate the delivery of instruction on our  Floral Campus ( grades 1 and 2). We are looking for an EC TA who will:

• Work with the school Administrative Team, which includes our EC Director, and our EC Teachers and other school staff to best serve the individual needs of our student body and EC population.
• Be open to learning grade level content, as well as ways to differentiate and deliver instruction
• Understand matters of legal compliance as it pertains to EC
• Be student-centered and advocate for the best interest of students within their caseload
• Have a thoughtful, and caring demeanor when dealing with students and parents. Our school uses positive discipline as our model for student and family interactions, and we expect all staff to be a part of upholding this culture.
• Work with a diverse group of learners and be willing to problem solve within a team to help those learners be successful
