Physician, Primary Care Provider, Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), VA Montana Health Care System, Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), Havre, Montana OUR MISSION: To fulfill President Lincoln's promise "To care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan" by serving and honoring the men and women who are America's Veterans. POSITION: Physician, Primary Care Provider, Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), VM-0602. One full‑time permanent position located in Ambulatory Care at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Havre, MT. Hours of work: Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30. Seeking a full‑time board‑certified (preferred) Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for Ambulatory Care. The incumbent will deliver services to veterans presenting for health care. Duties will include day‑to‑day care of veteran patients presenting with ambulatory/primary care appointments. This position may include participation in the provision of telemedicine care to outlying communities as well as occasional travel to other VA clinics within Montana to provide clinical coverage. Key Requirements Must pass pre‑employment examination. Designated and/or random drug testing required. Background and/or security investigation required. Required Skills and Qualifications Citizenship: Citizen of the United States. Education: Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an approved medical school. Approved schools include those with regular institutional membership in the Association of American Medical Colleges or the American Osteopathic Association, or those accepted by a state licensing body. Licensure and Registration: Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state, territory, or D.C. The physician must maintain active registration if required. Board Certification: Preferably board‑certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
