Bachelors Level ClinicianProgram/Location: Clinical Support Services, Brockton Education/Licensure: Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field Pay Range: $28.20/hr - $32.30/hr (Experience and Education dependent) Status: Full Time/Part TimeAbout UsHigh Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life.Clinician RequirementsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsAn understanding of the relationship between substance abuse and mental health issues and/or self-help programsDiagnostic, assessment skills and case management abilityPromote and enhance ones knowledge about the symptoms of psychiatric illness and addictionInteragency collaborationAbility to facilitate a group/lectureAbility to set limits and enforce rulesAn understanding of boundaries and ethicsComputer skillsClinician Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the positionComply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA RegulationsParticipate in Treatment Team MeetingsMaintain assigned caseload; Providing direct care to patients – including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessmentsResponsible for each assigned patients medical records. All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely mannersProvide direct care to the patients. This care will include, but not limited to, individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for new patient's. discharge and aftercare planning, and case management of patients assignedResponsible for linking patient's with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the patient and his/her family access outpatient services when appropriateAttend all unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical DirectorAttend mandatory trainingsResponsible for continued education in the field of substance abuse and related coursesResponsible for contacting the insurance company for authorization, as neededUtilize walkie-talkie as campus responderUtilize standards precautions at all timesDemonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined by the patient's rightsOther duties as assigned by the Program Director, the Clinical Director, and/or the Senior ClinicianClinician QualificationsBachelor's Degree in behavioral health or related field.BenefitsHigh Point's main objective is to ensure employees and their families lead fulfilling and healthy lives.
