Join a hospital-based cardiovascular team and support high-acuity diagnostic and interventional procedures while working with advanced imaging and support devices. What You’ll Do Assist physicians and cath lab staff during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including PCI and structural heart interventions. Scrub, circulate, and monitor during electrophysiology procedures, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems. Support neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions. Manage vascular access techniques for radial and femoral approaches, sheath management, and vascular closure devices. Operate advanced cardiovascular imaging and mapping systems such as ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping when applicable. Participate in emergent cases and the department’s weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as required by clinical needs. Minimum Requirements State of Connecticut radiographer license and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI is required. Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab / EP Lab experience in hospital settings supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Proficiency in scrubbing EP procedures (ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, leadless pacing). Experience scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy) and supporting mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing). Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Proficiency in radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices. Preferred: If a licensed radiologic technologist, familiarity with Siemens systems. Preferred: additional RCIS certification if not already held. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift: Days. Shift hours: 07:00 - 19:30. Typical shift pattern: 3x12-hour shifts (variable start time within early morning to evening window) and participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as required.
