Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Technologist)
Location: Lafayette, CO 80026
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shifts: Night Shift – 4 x 10 HR (Monday–Thursday | 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
On-Call: Rotating Holidays & Call
Compensation: Local: $68/hr W2 Travel: $2968/Weekly ($1768 Stipend Included)
Job Summary: Performs radiographic procedures to obtain diagnostic imaging according to physician orders. Responsible for patient positioning, image acquisition, radiation safety, contrast administration, and ensuring high-quality imaging for radiologist interpretation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, operate imaging equipment, and evaluate image quality for diagnostic accuracy
- Position, educate, transfer, and safely care for patients throughout imaging examinations
- Administer contrast as prescribed, follow radiologist protocols, and maintain radiation safety (ALARA) standards
- Submit images for interpretation, maintain supplies, and support student radiographers in the clinical setting
Experience: 1+ year of Radiologic Technologist -Diagnostic X-Ray required
Certifications: ARRT (R) & BLS (AHA)
Additional Notes:
- Providers are encouraged to use an existing dosimeter badge to maintain continuous exposure history
- Must be comfortable with patient transfers and fast-paced imaging environments
- Rotating call and holiday coverage required
