Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Ventilator Management and Airway Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS Description: This is a travel position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The role involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The unit has a total of 350 beds and a staffing level of 38. The respiratory therapy staff includes a charge therapist and five staff members per shift. Patient ratios are variable depending on the unit's needs. The equipment primarily used includes Hamilton G5, C1, T1, V60, and Vyair Avea. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience. Preferred experience includes PEDS, NICU, and PICU. Strong team-oriented and energetic candidates are encouraged to apply. Patient experience is a top priority for this unit.
