LifeFlight Ground Paramedic PRN - Wilson Co.

Job Summary Independent paramedic at LifeFlight Wilson Ground EMS, providing ALS critical care transport and triage within the Tennessee paramedic scope and the defined Vanderbilt paramedic scope. Supports interfacility transfers and emergent responses, including night, weekend, and holiday assignments. Shift Pattern

Key Responsibilities Participate with the healthcare team to provide direct patient care. Transport patients using ALS critical care protocols for all ages. Respond to emergency requests within Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt‑sponsored, or other contracted events. Use the problem‑solving model to independently resolve patient issues and coordinate with HCT to implement solutions. Identify patient and unit problems, develop solutions, and follow through with implementation. Effectively communicate patient handover to the healthcare team. Technical Capabilities Assess, intervene, and stabilize patients (Novice proficiency). Medication management (Novice proficiency). Critical thinking (Novice proficiency). Airway establishment (Novice proficiency). Ventilator management (Novice proficiency). Requirements Licenses: Driver’s License – Tennessee; Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic; other required licensure. Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant work experience. Education: High School Diploma or GED (required). Certifications: Paramedic license as required by state.
