Solutions Manager- Portfolio Solutions

Solution Manager – Enterprise Portfolio Solutions JLL’s global Portfolio Solutions business partners with clients across industry sectors to enhance the performance of their real‑estate portfolios and people. What this job involves The Solution Manager – Portfolio Solutions is charged with leading and coordinating the development of winning solutions for prospective clients across the primary Portfolio Services of Lease Administration, Consulting, Transaction Management and Brokerage. Responsibilities include ownership and development of an organization staffing model, identifying detailed savings and improvement plans, technology solutioning, ensuring teams can deliver solutions, and financial analysis that demonstrates the value proposition to our clients. The person will embrace a high‑energy level, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, have a track record of exceptional performance, and manage many competing demands while coordinating and producing meaningful solutions. Primary Responsibilities Lead through influence without direct management Demonstrate proven leadership/complex role track record Partner with internal subject matter experts Operate in high‑pressure environments Make quick decisions Build successful relationships and respond to diverse personalities Maintain thorough knowledge of competitive environment and articulate firm’s value proposition Show managerial courage by sharing unpopular positions when appropriate Process Own and coordinate overall product and components Maximize internal networks for creative, customized solutions Own deliverables critical for bid success and assist Sales Leads in converting solutions to profitable accounts Integrate data gathering Participate in client‑facing meetings to diagnose needs and customize findings Coordinate resources across geographies to ensure quality of proposed service offering Model portfolio cost and financial pricing Propose team structure and clarify scope with Sales leads, SMEs, solutions teammates, and clients Document assumptions, risks, and risk mitigation Create compelling work products and present to clients (in person or via video) Communicate with transition and account management teams to facilitate handoff after bid conversion Listen, articulate, and mold solutions Present account team, solution structure, delivery approach, and maintenance strategy internally and to clients Present to a variety of client types with flexible presentation style Receive constructive feedback during presentations and role‑playing Apply best solutions, practices, value, and pricing to every deal Grasp real‑estate outsourcing to design appropriate solutions Identify additional sales or growth opportunities during the RFP process Pricing Lead owner during negotiations to validate scope and price changes on P&L Partner with Sales Lead and team to embed pricing and bid details in final MSA Develop benchmarks and analytics for estimating and pricing when scope is lacking Identify financial or delivery risks and complete internal profitability analysis Use financial acumen to articulate value‑proposition impact Process & Project Management Strong organizational, detail‑focused, tenacious follow‑up skills Prioritize competing priorities Strong project/process management skills Drive and attain output from diverse disciplines and team members Governance Ensure Sales teams leverage internal best practices and tools on every deal Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree (required) 10+ years of JLL or industry‑related experience (required) Proven track record in leadership or complex roles (required) Strong background in Operations (on‑account), preferably depth in transaction management, brokerage, or portfolio services (required) Strong leadership and organization skills (required) Strong writing skills, ability to communicate comprehensive solutions in clear, concise narratives and executive summaries (required) Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication and analytical skills (required) Ability to work collaboratively with competing priorities (required) Build trust with all levels; highly respected by peers and leaders (required) Lead development of creative, unique solutions beyond standard practices (required) Preferred qualifications MBA (preferred) Sales experience (preferred) **This a hybrid role; we are open to any location with proximity to a JLL office. This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
