About This Role
We're seeking an assistant for our 3's and Pre-K classrooms at our Christian preschool in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate would be available to work 8am-3pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Fridays.
What You'll Do- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate behaviors and activities for ages 3-5
- Classroom management of approximately 10-12 children, ages 3-5, is a key responsibility
- The assistant will ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times
- Activities will be regularly updated, and communication with parents will be maintained via the Brightwheel app
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card is required
- We're willing to conduct a background check on the successful candidate
- We're a faith-based Christian preschool and would prefer to hire someone who shares our faith
- At least 6 months of professional experience working with children and/or education in Early Childhood (or a related area) is necessary
- CPR/First Aid certification is a desirable addition to the candidate's skillset
