Primary Duties and Responsibilities Fix vehicles right the first time Test drive vehicles, if necessary, to verify customer complaints Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints Advise the Service Advisor if additional work is needed, or if work recommended is unnecessary Stay up to date on all Infiniti technical bulletins Participate in Infiniti‑sponsored training and programs Use ASIST and TECH LINE for assistance with difficult repairs Ensure that the vehicle is left as clean, or cleaner, than when it arrived for service Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Service Director, such as performing quality control on designated vehicles Qualifications Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least one year Must be at least 18 years of age Prior shop experience required Prior dealership experience preferred Basic knowledge of vehicle electronic components, theory, systems, and testing tools and procedures Skill in diagnosing and repairing all key vehicle systems and components Knowledge of the proper procedures for handling hazardous materials Knowledge of the proper procedures for using tools and equipment Knowledge of the proper procedures for ensuring the technician’s own safety, the safety of co‑workers, and the safety of customers and their vehicles Basic writing skills to record work performed and recommend future service requirements on R.O.s Ability to read and interpret R.O.s Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds Performance Standards Personal productivity and efficiency performance at or above established goals Personal comeback rate at or below established goals Punctuality in reporting to work Keeping work area neat, clean, and organized Professional appearance and demeanor at all times Compensation Express Technician: $20 per clock hour Technician Apprentice: $23+ an hour based on experience Main Shop Technician: $30+ an hour based on experience Master Technician: $40+ an hour based on experience Relocation assistance up to $500 reimbursement, paid out after 30 days of employment 10k signing bonus for a Main Shop or Master Tech Position (eligible for the first year of employment) Hours Monday‑Friday 7:30AM – 5:30PM Saturday 7AM – 4PM (work one Saturday per month) Full‑time, average 45–50 clock hours per week Benefits Employer‑paid dental insurance Employer‑paid life insurance Employer‑paid medical insurance Employer‑paid HSAs Employer‑paid wellness clinic Employer‑paid flu vaccinations every fall Employer‑percentage matching for 401(k) Employer‑paid parental leave Five paid bereavement leave days per year for immediate family members (after 60 days) Paid time off (vacation) days per year by tenure: 60 days – 1year: 5 days 1–3years: 14 days 3–7years: 19 days 7+years: 24 days Annual Christmas bonus based on tenure Annual technician flag hour bonuses: $.25 per hour for Express, $.50 per hour for Main Line, $1 per hour for Master Annual Christmas party Annual employee appreciation dinner Employee vehicle purchase program Employee discounts on collision repair, parts, and service Bi‑weekly pay periods paid on Fridays Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Employer paid lunches every Saturday Employer paid lunches/dinners on special occasions (blood drives, birthdays, awards, etc.) Access to in‑house insurance agency Access to in‑house marketing agency Voluntary life termination and whole life insurance Voluntary AFLAC supplemental coverages, voluntary vision plan, pet insurance, and legal shield $200 donation to charity of your choice with approval Core Values Transformational, not transactional – Be Transformational We do what we say we’ll do We encourage and support each other We’re committed to continuous growth CAG is proud to be an equal‑opportunity employer.
