Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans designed by the supervising physical therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment interventions
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid New Hampshire PTA license or compact eligibility
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in therapeutic exercises, modalities, and gait training
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with patients and families
• Detail-oriented for accurate documentation and charting
• Time management skills to handle a varied caseload efficiently
