Occupancy and Recertification Specialist

What you'll be doing as an Occupancy and Recertification Specialist Utilize organizational skills to provide preeminent affordable housing accommodations in your community. Interact daily with prospective and current residents to create a welcoming experience and sense of community. Process certifications (initial, interim, annual) and calculate retroactive rent in accordance with all applicable guidelines. Collect necessary documentation from residents and process verifications. Apply correct rents for annual and interim recertification; adjust to remain compliant. Prepare rent repayment agreements and explain rent calculations to residents according to HUD guidelines. Review EIV reports and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while efficiently managing multiple projects and deadlines. Complete tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision, thriving in a busy, high‑volume environment. Prioritize and manage time to consistently meet deadlines and exceed expectations. Compensation $26.00–$28.00 per hour Annual performance bonus Non‑Exempt – eligible for overtime pay Qualifications Knowledge of LITHC and related policies and procedures. Detail‑oriented with the ability to operate on a deadline‑driven schedule. Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills. 2–4 years of leasing experience.
