The Project Engineer will provide technical and leadership to the Project Manager in support of Superintendents and field foreman on all projects.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Makes decisions both small and large for small and large utility projects
• Document Control’s experience as this position maintains the schedule, change order, purchases for along with subcontractor’s documentations required.
• Responsible for uploading all information regarding contracts, including change orders and adjustments.
• Monitors contract compliance for each job
• Requires excellent communication skills and ability to resolve Participates in difficult issues or start-up.
• safety among peers, subordinates and supervisors.
• Additional duties as assigned to support Company and Management Team 

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s in engineering or construction management preferred but not required.
• Primavera scheduling or similar scheduling software preferred.
• Accubid or similar estimating software experience preferred.
• Spectrum program, or equivalent, experience preferred.
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid class C California driver's license.
• A Minium of 4 years’ experience in similar type construction environment required.
• Previous experience working with collection matters and lien releases.
