Psychiatry Physician

Psychiatry physician job in Virginia : As a Physician (Psychiatry), you will: - Provides treatment services in any capacity including, inpatient services, consultation liaison services, partial hospitalization, day programs, emergency psychiatric services, tele-psychiatric services and routine and intensive outpatient services. - Examine and conduct thorough studies of presenting patients and evaluate laboratory and clinical findings, prescribing appropriate treatment or referring patient to appropriate specialty clinics. - Provide biopsychosocial evaluations using integration of laboratory, radiological and clinical findings, making fitness and suitability determinations for duty. - Provide psychiatric care for walk-in patients presenting with acute illnesses of minor and major proportions. - Participate in continuing education programs to update and maintain skills.
