Title RN – Registered Nurse Department Pool / PRN – Observation Close “We dedicate our lives to caring for yours” Position Description RN - Registered Nurse Department Pool / PRN - Observation Close BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Pool/PRN Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Observation Close team at St. Joseph’s Hospital. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness. The Observation Close unit is a nice mix of med/surg and behavioral health and is a medical unit for Behavioral Health patients, patients at a high risk for fall, confused patients, and Baker Act patients. Responsibilities Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Professional accountability and development. Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Qualifications Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required RN (Registered Nurse) license is required ACLS Certification, if required by department Nurse Specialty certification is preferred Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred Experience: 18 months of RN experience is required.
