This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of robotics and automation at unprecedented scale, working with world-class teams pushing the boundaries of what's possible in robotic manipulation, locomotion, and human-robot interaction.Key job responsibilities:Work with an interdisciplinary team to design new robotic industrial automation from concept to production, and improve and maintain existing product designs.Design of industrial control panels and complex electrical systems, including: layouts, schematics, BOM, documentation for fabrication, coordination with build/procurement, certification/QC and field support.Write requirements and functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.Develop field support hardware diagnostics tools, documents, and training to resolve issues in high complexity FC system installations.Work with the Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organizations, as well as vendors to ensure a smooth production transition of design changes.Deep-dive drive electronics issues, optimize configurations, develop and execute tests to verify functionality.Travel to vendors, installation sites, and manufacturing partners to ensure high quality bar is maintained.
