Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 5 Days/Week | 40 Hours/Week | Weekend, Holiday & On-Call Coverage Required

Pay Rate: $2,757 – $2,827/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to provide safe, high-quality nursing care and support surgical procedures while maintaining a safe and aseptic environment.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Current New York State RN license.

• BLS Certification required.

• OR/Operating Room nursing experience.

• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, clinical equipment, and OR instrumentation.

• Ability to maintain a safe and aseptic environment.

• Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills.

• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room/ASU setting.

• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.

• Maintain a safe and aseptic environment during procedures.

• Safely operate and utilize clinical equipment and instrumentation.

• Monitor patients and recognize lethal dysrhythmias.

• Ensure safe patient movement using appropriate equipment and lifting techniques.

• Prioritize and delegate nursing responsibilities appropriately.

• Assume Charge Nurse duties as required.

• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
