Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live 50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.
• 24 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

Additional Details:
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
Required Credentials: RDCS-PE verification required.
Special Requests: Can only apply to 1 position at a time across the WVU system. Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility. Previous permanent employees must be gone for 2 years. Previous travelers who were there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years. Cumulative experience applies for previous travelers. Travel teams must be submitted together. If the candidate worked at a permanent facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from that facility. At least 1 reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to.
Unit Details: Performs inpatient echo in the Children's Hospital. Common imaging studies include fetal and pediatric echo. Uses ISCV. Department-specific equipment: Philips EPIQ7.
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri, day shift typically 8-430 or 830-5. Weekends not typically required. No holiday requirements. No call or standby requirement.
Floating Requirements: inpatient echo done on the unit in Children's hospital
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver's license required for submission
Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS))
