Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to perform visual and automated inspections of printed products. This role involves finishing operations to complete rolls of labels and package them, recording results on designated forms, and operating machinery including Slitter, Seamer, Inspection Table, and Cutter. Additional job-related duties may be assigned.

• Conduct visual and automated inspections of printed products.
• Complete finishing operations to prepare rolls of labels for packaging.
• Record operational results on designated forms.
• Operate Slitter, Seamer, Inspection Table, and Cutter machinery.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Proficiency in using a ruler, calculator, and basic hand tools.
• Team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Punctuality, self-directed task completion, and good interpersonal skills.
• Professionalism to interface with all departments.
• Ability to work normal shift hours and overtime as required.

• High School education.
• Prior related experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus; visual acuity correctable to Snellen 20/20.
• Constant standing, walking, squatting, bending, and reaching overhead.

The role requires working in a manufacturing setting with regular shift hours and potential overtime. You will be utilizing various machines and tools, and must adhere to safety standards. The position demands physical activity, including standing, walking, squatting, bending, and reaching overhead, with a dress code suitable for a manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Robbinsville, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Robbinsville,NJ.
