Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Friday through Sunday weekend rotation with variable weekday call coverage (typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks). Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed.

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular Operating Room specialty position supporting cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
• Comprehensive case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, MAZE procedures, vascular repairs, and thoracic surgeries
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Assignment duration varies with orientation hours based on contract length
• Holiday coverage required as part of assignment; travelers expected to work major holidays falling within contract period
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum two years of CVOR experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience required
• Current Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required and must be current
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, carotid endarterectomy, and related cardiovascular surgeries
• Ability to scrub for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases
• Trauma Level I or II experience strongly preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; all core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
