This Medical Secretary role isin our busy 1MD, 1NP Internal Medicine office in Framingham. Seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Secretary to join our dedicated clinical team. We are looking for an individual who brings a positive attitude , is a proactive self-starter , and thrives in a fast-paced environment . This position requires flexibility, strong multitasking abilities, and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure. Must be comfortable working in high volume environment. EPIC experience a plus!

Schedule : M-F, 7:45AM -4:30PM

Requirements

Answering and handling telephone calls from providers, patients, etc., including triaging calls appropriately
Checking patients in and out for their appointments
Scheduling appointments including making referral and ancillary appointments
Supporting physicians in their day-to-day work schedule
Processing requests for referrals and prescription refills
Handling tasks such as collecting payments, registering patients in the electronic medical records system, copying and mailing medical records, confirming insurance eligibility, providing patient reminders, addressing no-show patients, among others
Keep track of office and medical supplies
Coordinating care with other offices as needed
Assisting in medical tasks such as rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing EKGs if needed
Answering patients' questions regarding billing, insurance issues, etc.
Working as a team with other members of office to provide high quality patient care
Performing other duties as assigned by the Office Manager
