Infusion Center Chemotherapy Pharmacy TechnicianThe chemotherapy pharmacy technician is trained and proficient in the sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques required for the handling of hazardous drugs. The technician primarily works in the IV room compounding hazardous drug products for hospitals with significant oncology programs.The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.Qualifications1. High school diploma or equivalent required2. 1 year of sterile compounding experience required3. 3 years of related pharmacy experience preferred4. National Pharmacy Technician Association (NPTA) Chemo Certification or similar required5. State Pharmacy Technician License and Registration required (if required per state regulations)6.
