Job Description
Our Mental Health practice located in Salem Virginia, seeks an additional provider to lead our multidisciplinary team. Our tenured team of experts offers highly individualized care to adult patients with common and complex psychiatric conditions. As part of an academic medicine clinic, we supervise resident physicians, training them to be the next generation of physician leaders. LewisGale Regional Health System partners with hundreds of physicians who share our common commitment to providing superior, compassionate care and evidence-based medicine.

Qualified candidates:
• Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
• Medical Degree
• Board certified/board eligible in Psychiatry
• Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach to program expansion and medical education
• Provide high-quality care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams as well as medical directorship
• Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license
