Inventory Control Clerk

CORE FUNCTIONS

Utilize MRP system to generate inventory reports, such as excess and obsolete materials, material usage and demand. Responsible for inventory management of material by cycle counts, entering adjustments, as required, in Visual Manufacturing. Required to participate in Year End Physical Inventory. Review and coordinate Engineering Change Notices with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to ensure smooth transitions. Responsible for weekly and monthly Bulk Issue Counts Inform Senior Buyer when inventory issues arise and provide recommend resolutions. Communicate effectively with all departments.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required. 1 year of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment required. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Ability to write, speak, and comprehend English. Basic computer skills, ability to add, subtract, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.

P HYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
