Job Title: Home Health Aide (HHA)
Location: Waterview Nursinmg Care Center
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Nursing Supervisor / RN

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our care team at Waterview Nursing Care Center, a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. The HHA will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being in accordance with each resident’s care plan and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities - Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions to nursing staff

• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents

• Help residents with exercises and mobility as directed by care plans or physical therapy

• Assist with feeding residents and ensuring proper hydration

• Document care provided and resident responses accurately and in a timely manner

• Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

• Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Valid HHA certification in the state of [State]

• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required depending on state)

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff

• Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents regularly
