Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend and holiday required. There are no blocked scheduling options available.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting. The role includes responsibilities for the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias while employing rapid response and code team procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients in a Med Surg/Tele unit.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Utilize rapid response and code team interventions as necessary.
• Administer oxygen and manage airway with nasal cannula and oxygen tanks.
• Implement isolation precautions and maintain patient safety measures.
• Care for patients undergoing peripheral line management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent nursing experience in a Med Surg/Tele setting.
• New York State RN license required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with telemetry charting preferred.
