Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Labor/Delivery unit is responsible for providing care to obstetric/neonatal patients, including those with hypertension and gestational diabetes mellitus. The position requires the ability to read and interpret fetal strips and manage titratable drips such as pitocin, insulin, and magnesium.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care for patients receiving pitocin, magnesium, or insulin drips, and 1:3 couplet care.
• Float to Medsurg & ER as needed, adhering to quality metrics and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with CNAs and surgical techs for patient support and unit operations.

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
