As a leading full-service catering company located in the vibrant heart of Central Pennsylvania, and with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, The JDK Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and culinary excellence to our clients.We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring fresh and clean linens and uniforms for our events.

• Up to 25 hours per week and flexible schedule. Weekly schedule will change depending on event schedule.

What Youll Do:

• Laundering and Maintenance:Operate industrial laundry equipment to clean, dry and press linens, including tablecloths, napkins, and uniforms ensuring they are fresh, clean, and free of wrinkles or stains.
• Inventory Management:Monitor linen inventory levels ensuring an adequate supply for upcoming events.
• Quality Control:Conduct thorough inspections of laundered linens to ensure they meet quality standards, making any necessary repairs or replacements as needed.
• Team Collaboration:Work closely with the laundry lead.

What We're Looking For:

• Ideally someone available Monday-Wednesday during the day and possibly Sundays
• 18 years or older, please
• Prior experience in a commercial work environment preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision in all aspects of laundering and linen maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and move heavy laundry loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals as well as the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Ability to deal with a hot environment at times
• Reliable transportation
