Key Details
- Compensation: $85,600-$117,700 annually + eligibility to earn a 10% bonus
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match and company contribution, PTO, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, fitness reimbursement and more
- Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL
- Work Model: Hybrid
What's the Job?
- Support monthly and quarterly close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Execute and maintain SOX controls and compliance requirements
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations and variance analyses
- Research accounting issues and identify trends within large data sets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on planning and forecasting initiatives
- Present financial results and recommendations to leadership
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Drive process improvement, automation and efficiency initiatives
- Participate in special projects related to accounting and regulatory changes
- Mentor junior team members and support team development
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Four to seven years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, FASB guidance and SOX compliance
- Experience preparing reconciliations, financial analyses and reporting packages
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated success leading process improvements
- Strong communication and project management abilities
- CPA, MBA, public accounting or regulatory reporting experience preferred
- Experience with analytics tools, automation or AI solutions is a plus
