Director of Financial Reporting

A global publicly traded manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead external reporting, technical accounting, and process improvement initiatives. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct exposure to executive leadership and responsibility for managing a team while overseeing complex accounting and reporting matters across a large global organization. What you’ll be doing: Lead SEC reporting, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks Oversee consolidated financial reporting across a complex global structure Manage technical accounting for acquisitions, integrations, and other complex transactions Partner with leadership, auditors, legal, and investor relations teams Drive SOX compliance and strengthen internal controls Lead process improvement and automation initiatives across reporting and close functions Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team What they’re looking for: 8+ years of progressive accounting/reporting experience Strong SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP expertise Prior public accounting experience strongly preferred Experience working in a large, global organization Leadership experience managing and developing teams Why this role stands out: High visibility with executive leadership Broad exposure to technical accounting, M&A, and global reporting Opportunity to drive process improvements and automation Strong long-term growth potential within a global organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Buckingham Search
