This role allows you to supervise field crews and manage daily operations for a company that values your hard work and dedication. You will have the opportunity to mentor crew members while ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.How You Will Make an Impact:Lead, supervise, and coordinate all daily activities of the asphalt milling crew.Set up milling equipment, signage, and traffic control measures according to safety specifications.Read and interpret detailed blueprints, grade stakes, and project work orders accurately.Monitor milling operations to ensure exact depth, slope, and surface preparation specifications are met.Manage the timely mobilization, maintenance, and cleaning of milling machines and support equipment.Communicate daily with project managers, paving foremen, and inspectors to align project needs.Maintain accurate daily records of labor, equipment usage, production quantities, and field progress.Required Qualifications & Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience operating or supervising asphalt milling equipment.Proven leadership skills with a background that reflects work ethic and job stability.Absolute willingness to travel overnight up to 10-20% for projects outside the local area.Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, in outdoor environments.Physical capability to constantly stand, move about worksites, and lift up to 50 pounds.Preferred Qualifications & Experience:Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).1–2 years of formal leadership or supervisory experience in highway or commercial paving.Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills for handling unexpected field adjustments.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly wage of $32 to $38 per hour with overtime potential.Weekly pay cycle and annual bonus eligibility.401(k) retirement savings program with employer matching.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options.Health Savings Account (HSA) and life/disability insurance coverage.Paid time off including holidays, vacation, and sick leave.Access to professional career development, mentor training, and safety certifications.Referral bonus program and opportunity to work on prevailing wage projects.About UsCincinnati Asphalt is a premier commercial asphalt specialist providing top-tier roadway, parking lot, and site development services.
